It was just me and you, everything was good again.
Up at the water tower, you were chasing me.
One moment I was running almost getting away until,
I looked back a little longer than I should've, at your huge smile.
My heart melted a little.
Loosing my balance, I of course tripped over a rock.
We were laughing so hard, you came over, kissed my forehead, and just sat next to me.
Examining my slightly bleeding knee.
Lucky for us you grabbed my favorite sparkly bandaids before we left the house.

You carried me back to where our picnic spot was,
-teasing me about how clumsy i was, just being all dumb knowing it was clearly your fault-
and layed me on the blankets right next to you.
We just watched the sunset go down and star gazed all through the night.
Joking around and laughing our hearts out like we used to.
You fell asleep and I just layed in your arms smelling you like the creep I am, amazed that you were mine again and things were the same, if not better.
At that moment I promised myself I would let nothing ruin us again.
